Happy Sunday, everyone! When I looked at the readings for today, I got really excited about the Old Testament, Psalm, and Gospel readings, but when I went to write about them I realized that what was on my heart about them this year was very similar to what I’d previously written. So, instead of writing something new, I’ll let you decide which message you’d like:
- Genesis 45.1-15: Joseph reconciles with his family: A Tale of Two Brothers (2020)
- Psalm 133: A Psalm of Ascent about harmonious relationships: How Good It Is (2021)
- Matthew 15.10-28: Jesus and the Syro-Phoenician Woman:
- Insiders and Outsiders (about the Mark version of the story, 2021)
- Justice for Jezebel? (References this story, 2019)
Enjoy and have a great week!
