I’ve been busy working away at my series ‘Atonement through the Ages,’ so I fully admit that All Saints Day snuck up on me this year. So instead of having a new post, I’ll direct to some previous posts I’ve written that relate to the feast and its significations:
- The Communion of Saints as a Sacred Practice (May 2018)
- Witnesses: For All the Saints (All Saints Day 2019)
- It’s Our Turn (All Saints Day 2020)
- Hunger and Feeding: A Reflection on Halloween and All Saints Day, Isaiah 25, and Sin and Salvation (All Saints Day 2021)
There are also, I think, some relevant reflections on the role of the past in our present and future faith in my 2022 series ‘Tradition(ed)’.
(Note: Because of this festal post going up today, I’ll shift the two series posts scheduled for this week to Friday and Sunday, meaning there won’t be a reflection on the Sunday readings this week.)
