One of my favourite traditions in recent years here on the blog has been for my main Fall series to look at Christian theology through an external lens to better understand ourselves through the face of an other. This is not to ‘appropriate’ any idea as our own, but to use another worldview as a mirror to help us see ourselves better as Christians. In 2021 I did this with Integral thought, in 2022 with Indigenous spiritualities, and, in 2023, with principles of permaculture. While I took a break in 2024 to focus on the the basics of Christianity in the Sermon on the Mount, I returned to the format in 2025, with a series on Buddhism and Christianity, called the Wheel and the Way:
Introduction on nature of the project and why Buddhism is an interesting foil for Christianity
The Four Noble Truths and Non-Attachment
