In the Fall of 2025, there was a brief moment when the media was obsessed over a viral social media rapture prediction. Naturally it came to nothing, as these things always do. But as Advent approached, I couldn’t help but think that while we need a lot less of this silly speculation about the End Times, we actually need a right kind of Apocalypticism more than ever. And so that became my Advent theme:
